In the lead up to Christmas, Bishop Steven created a Lego wreath, to hold the five candles we light through the weeks of Advent. Bishop Steven took his wreath to the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education service for headteachers at the beginning of the month.
Bishop Steven laid out a challenge to children to create their own. Here's what a couple of you came up with...
Eleanor, age 7 3/4
"This is my Lego Advent wreath secret garden. It has a door like the secret garden, overgrown vines, and flowers.
"Do you see the flames on the top of my candles? My favourite parts are the jewels on top of the door and the unicorn horns beside the door."
Elliot, age 6
Elliot also made his own interpretation of a wreath. Our huge thanks to Elliot and Eleanor for their efforts!
