We were saddened by the tragic death of a man who was found dead in the churchyard at St Frideswide Church on Botley Road, Oxford, on Tuesday evening. The churchyard was cordoned off throughout Wednesday as police carried out an investigation.
We are co-operating with the police and we are keeping everyone affected by this tragedy in our prayers.
St Frideswide's will be open throughout daylight hours of Thursday and Friday (Feb 7 and 8) for anyone who wants to pray or reflect. For more pictures see the story on the Oxford Mail website.
